These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by Central Alabama Land Services ("CALS," "we," "our," or "us") at www.calsland.com and the services we provide. By accessing or using our website, or by requesting or receiving our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services Provided
Central Alabama Land Services provides land management and land improvement services to landowners throughout Central Alabama. Our services include, but are not limited to, land clearing, forestry mulching, prescribed burning, dead tree removal, firebreak construction, food plot preparation, invasive species control, and related property improvement work.
3. Estimates and Quotes
Any estimates, quotes, or pricing information provided through our website or during consultation are based on information available at the time of inspection and are subject to change based on actual site conditions.
A final scope of work and price will be confirmed in writing before services begin.
Actual project costs, timelines, methods, and equipment requirements may vary based on terrain, vegetation density, hidden obstacles, weather conditions, property access, utility locations, environmental conditions, customer-requested scope changes, and other factors that cannot be fully assessed in advance.
Changes to the scope of work, work area, project objectives, site conditions, or customer requests may require additional charges and written approval.
4. Scheduling and Site Access
Service dates are scheduled in good faith and may be subject to change due to weather, equipment availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. You agree to provide us with reasonable access to your property and to identify property boundaries, easements, utilities, and any areas to be preserved prior to the start of work.
Prescribed burning services are subject to weather conditions, fuel conditions, regulatory requirements, burn authorizations, safety considerations, and professional judgment. Scheduled burns may be delayed, modified, or canceled when conditions are not suitable for safe and effective implementation.
5. Property Boundaries and Permits
You are responsible for clearly marking property boundaries and for ensuring that all necessary permits, approvals, or authorizations are in place prior to the start of work. CALS is not responsible for work performed on misidentified property or for delays resulting from missing permits or approvals.
Customers are responsible for identifying and disclosing the location of underground utilities, private utility lines, septic systems, wells, irrigation systems, drainage infrastructure, fences, survey monuments, markers, and any other improvements that may be affected by the work. Central Alabama Land Services is not responsible for damage to items that are not properly identified or disclosed prior to commencement of work.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be set forth in your written agreement or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of services. Late payments may be subject to additional charges as permitted by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Central Alabama Land Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from the services we provide shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. 9. Habitat Management and Wildlife Results
Land management, forestry mulching, prescribed burning, invasive species control, food plot preparation, habitat improvement, and related services are intended to improve property conditions and support landowner objectives. However, wildlife populations, hunting success, forage production, vegetation response, timber response, ecological outcomes, and other land management results depend on numerous factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed.
Recommendations provided by Central Alabama Land Services are based on professional judgment, available information, and stated landowner objectives. Actual results may vary.
